Arrrggghhhh - I've used Eudora for decades (seems, centuries) and have
fought my way through all the iterations of Windows. And the
Certs/stunnel "fixes".

Four days ago the above error occurred and rebooting the computer put
things right.

Last night MightySoft decided to again "update" my Win 10 and this
morning I can't resolve the 10053 error even with rebooting. It errors
instantly - no waiting.

I've searched this forum and Googled online - and I'm a former
computer tech though more hardware than soft - and I can't find a
starting point to tease out the cause and solution.

Help..... Please!

Ouch, ouch! I "unpinned" Eudora from my Win Task Bar thinking it would
reappear on my desktop where I could look at its properties... but
nooooooo. It's gone!

When I go to E...exe I get the certs error. There must have been a
appendage to the exe in the shortcut which is now gone and, after all
these years (!) I no longer remember. Maybe to call Stunnel?

Ahhhh, solved.

I went to
https://sourceforge.net/projects/hermesmail/files/HermSSL.zip/download

then tried to run the program. Which failed as I already had
?MushySoft Something? installed and running.

So I just coppied all the file in the extraction folder into Eudora
allowing to replace as required.

Et voila!

Maybe this will help someone else.
