Hello:

Can someone in the know comment on
http://www.computerhistory.org/atchm/the-eudora-email-client-source-code/

Does this do us Eudora users any good? (In particular, better
character set support as has been posted about many times over the
years.)

Sincerely,

I thought there was a thread here by someone about the project to revive Eudora under a new name, "Hermes". Look for threads by Nick Werner-Matavka or search on "Hermes".

There is a Kickstarter campaign to collect money for this.

Why not donate a few bucks, or if you are a coder, they really would like some help. I'm not really a coder or I would participate.

Branna (not sure of his last name) has a functioning Eudora work alike (With support for UTF8 encoding - which solves the garbage characters problem.) up as shareware at https://www.drivehq.com/web/brana/pandora.htm

It is up to version 1.9, is actively being developed. Worth a look.
