Import from Thunderbird

Can the newest version of Eudora import contacts and mail from TB? I
don't want to go through the hassle of installing it if it won't. I
would probably purchase it if it did import everything as I've had
trouble with this in the past with earlier versions of Eudora. I know
I'll need to remake my filters and mailboxes but that's no big deal if
the other stuff imports over. Thanks!

Nevermind...it doesn't. Will only import from Outlook/Express and Netscape.

Did you try telling it you wanted to do an import from Netscape, then
direct it to the Thunderbird files? Given that it is possible to move data
from Netscape to Thunderbird by simply pointing Thunderbird at the
Netscape files, the format is presumably the same, which means Eudora
should be able to import it just as well. (I haven't had any reason to try
going from Thunderbird to Eudora, so I can't tell you whether or not it
actually works, but I have had reason to transfer mail between Netscape
and Thunderbird and that worked well.)
