yahoo.com: problems to download emails

Hi,
I use Edius 7.1, for some days I'm not able to download emails from
yahoo.com.
Do I have to change some settings?
Are you able to download your emails with Eudora?

This is part of an email sent out by Yahoo to yahoo email accounts
telling that some 3rd party email clients might stop working. This was
sent out around Aug 2020.

I have no idea if this could be part of your problem. My wife uses
Yahoo email on her computer and phone and she has not had a problem so
far without making any changes.

There were links in the mail that I was not able to capture but I
would assume if you do a Google search for this issue you should be
able find the links.

2 don't work.
Your email arrived late and yesterday I followed this step: "generate
a third-party app password to access your account."
Now i got a temporary password and i don't know how long it will last.
ufffffff, I don't know what to do.

IMVSO your posts don't give enough detail. Did you make the app
password?

Is that what you mean by temporary password?

If so, why do you think it's only temporary. It's not.
