Hello, I have 2 Eudora 7.1. I have one in my PC and the another Eudora
7.1 in a laptop.
I see 2 different position if the icons in the Tab.
I'd like to get the third icon of the second photo just like in the
second photo (positioned as second icon). How can i move the third
icon and put it in the second position?

You should be able to just drag and drop the tabs.
Click on the one you want to move. Hold the mouse button down and drag it left or right to where you want it. The cursor should change to an upwards pointing arrow. When it's where you want it to be, release the button, and that should be it!

I also thought it was the right step, but it isn't. I've tried this
several times. When I do as you say, the tab becomes floating.
Did you try it?
I thank you.

So if you hold the left click mouse button down with the cursor on a tab, and drag the tab sideways over one of the other tabs, the cursor does not change to an upwards pointing arrow? It does for me.

Unfortunately it is absolutely NOT as you say.

Well I can't explain that.
Are you sure you're holding the left click button down for long enough when the cursor is sitting on the tab icon?
There is a bit of a delay. If you hold if for say five seconds, and then move the cursor slightly on the tab, it should change to a 'no entry' sign cursor.
If that's not happening I don't know what the problem is. Is it any different on the other 'good' Eudora installation?

I'm sorry, you are right. What I was wrong was that I didn't hold the
mouse button for long. Now I have solved it due to your advice. Thank
you
