Are you still suffering from the EUDORA ERROR "Eudora cannot update the system registry" under win10??? If so I think I have solved it quickly and easily and without downloading any programs or converting any files. I have tried it various times and it seems to be repeatable solution. Rather than bore you with the details here, send me a note via this service?? Regards Tony ***@gmail.com

That problem has always had an easy solution...

Tools/Options/Extra Warnings
UNCHECK Start Eudora and it's not the default mailer

and use the Windows control panel for default application to select Eudora
for email.

And don't try to enable MAPI...

Hi Dennis, maybe I don't understand you well.
The config. of Eudora is OK.
In fact I already have "Start Eudora and it's not the default mailer"
unchecked.
Then I went on the Windows control panel and I have Eudora as the
default app. Look at the pic please:

But despite all of this I get that problem.
Thanks for yoyr help.

In addition to what Denis has said about unchecking that option in the
Extra Warnings:

Start Eudor by running as administrator for a few seconds, then close
Eudora and start it again normally. After a Windows update it is
sometimes necessary to repeat this.

This simple solution has been known since the beginning of Windows 10.

You are right. I didn't know it.
I made what you suggest and my Eudora problem is disappeared.
Thank you
