I lost the password for the "dominant" account in Eudora 7.

Is the password stored in SavePasswordText in eudora.ini?

I seem to recall it is quite weak encryption and the last time I had to do
this it was easy to get an online utility to convert the hex to text.

How do I decrypt it?

Can't you go to your ISP webpage and request a new password there. I
haven't done this afaicr, but it's not Eudora that assigns passwords.
It only records them.

After you do this, you may have to click on Special / Forget
Passwords for Eudorat to forget what it thinks and to ask you to enter
the new actual password.

if you really want to decrypt a password in the ini file, I suspect you
are trying to spy on someone else's email. Shame, shame, shame.

Unless your dominant email account is not provided by your ISP, it
should be the same as your ISP login password.

It's BASE-64 -- not even encrypted...

Your password, in encoded form, is in this line in eudora.ini:

SavePasswordText=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

To decode it you can use one of the many on-line available Base64
decoders such as this one:

Just copy the password found in the eudora.ini file and convert it here
